Further down the shore is a smaller boat landing area that can also be used for kayaks. Access to the property by a quick and easy 10 to 12 minute walk from the private parking lot off Route 11, or short boat access via private camp owners association owned boat landing. Being just off the main road only adds to the private, quiet and peaceful setting to this camp. Millinocket sits at the base of Mt. Katahdin, the largest mountain in Maine, and next to Baxter State Park. Only minutes from the camp are some of the best hiking, fishing, hunting, and whitewater rafting areas in New England. Also, minutes from the camp is access to Maine Snowmobile and ATV trails that will take you to Millinocket and beyond.
