222-acre managed woodland tract in Central New Hampshire. Land is subject to two conservation easements: (1) A Wetlends Reserve Program (USDA) easement encumbers 200 acres and limits potential uses to "undeveloped" recreation and timber management, which requires harvest plan approval by the Natural Resource Conservation Service; (2) A SPNHF easement on 22 acres allows forestry governed by a management plan, which allows for greater latitude in personal use of the forest resource; agriculture; habitat management; and non-commercial outdoor recreation. An owner of this land has the reserved right to control public access and may use the land for hunting. Last harvested in 2010 and 2005 by Meadowsend Timberlands. Proceeds from this sale will benefit further land conservation efforts by the Southeast Land Trust of NH.
